Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Hebrews 2:14-15
The Lord has been speaking a word of breakthrough to many in our congregation. Now is the time to be released in the breakthrough of the Lord. Today is the day of Salvation! Jesus has declared this the acceptable year of the Lord. He has put His Spirit upon us to proclaim liberty to our neighbors. You and I are the messengers. We are the gifted bearers of good news. We are clay pots full of precious oil. Let's spill out our community with boldness.
Jesus has partaken of our nature to defeat our foe and release us to be like Him. Not only has He released us from the power of death but from the one who had the power of death. Let's take this incredible gift Jesus has given us and live to the fullest. We can do this by confidently sharing what He is doing in our lives with those around us.
Be free; really free. Live the dreams that Jesus has set before you. Be a good parent, child, student worker or whatever God has put before you; wherever you find yourself. Let Jesus release you from mediocrity and pursue the greatness you were reborn to! Remember now is the time! Today is the Day! You are free from sin, death and selfishness NOW! Abundant life belongs to you!
