We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-4
This morning I am thinking about the body that I serve. I am pleased to minister to them. I am thankful God has put me here to serve among them. I am also thankful for those who I have the privilege to have ministered with in the past. Those churches are awesome because they let me practice ministry on them. I am always grateful to see what is being built among my extended family by the Lord.
I pray for you all. You are on my lips before the throne often. If we are in relationship you are in my very detailed prayer list. I know you are working for God with faith, love, patience, and hope in Christ. Remember that you are working under our Father’s watchful eye. He will not forget the good you have done to His people. He will not forget your salvation.
Be encouraged. Pursue the work of God. You have the assurance that God has chosen you. He is looking out for you. I am thankful for you and I am praying for you.
Lord, You see those who minister around me. By Your Spirit, fill them with the virtues they need to perform their labors of love. Remind them constantly they are Your chosen minister in their sphere of influence. Walk closely with them so the experience You not just the work you have for them.
