Today -- April 6, 2009

For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2

Today is the time to apply Salvation to our lives. Don’t plan to apply His power – apply it now! Jesus is standing by to help us. He hears us and enables us to commend ourselves in all we do with His help. Christians (you & I) need to quit waiting to change our lives. In faith, we can meet Him now and the results will be magnificent. The Provisions have already been made. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing. If we do our part and prepare the soil of our hearts, He will do His part and we will grow.

All that is required is openhearted relationship. First, we need an open-faced bond with our Father through Jesus. I have to set my heart to hear from Him and to obey what I hear. That is the key to all growth. We also need each other. We need to make sure that our hearts are open so our brothers and sisters can encourage me and I can encourage them. Now is the time.

Let’s put away our immaturity and listen to God and to each other. Let’s stop hesitating and enter into God and His family today with open hearts. It is the only way to receive the wholeness Jesus has purchased for us. Join me in committing to pursuing an openhearted relationship with our Father and the rest of the family. Then we will be saved experientially and our community will be changed.
